Larry leads the solutions architects focused on developing AWS partners. His organization delivers on three critical dimensions; educating partners on AWS, building innovative solutions with partners to meet customer needs, and removing unique technical challenges for partners. Prior to joining AWS, Larry spent 12 years at Microsoft working with education customers on complex security and identity management challenges both as an individual contributor and leader. In his free time, Larry volunteers with local community organizations, coaches youth basketball, and mentors other in navigating IT careers.
Matt is Vice President, Technology at AWS; he works across all AWS services to accelerate how customers can innovate in the cloud and to develop major new areas of innovation from business intelligence, to spatial computing, to generative AI. Matt has been at Amazon for 13 years, and has worked across every area of the cloud, involved in launching thousands of new features and major services including Lambda, SageMaker, and Redshift. His passion is working with AWS customers (such as the NFL, Intuit, Pinterest, GE, FINRA, Celgene, and NASA) to bring their ideas to life. Before joining Amazon, Matt completed a PhD in the UK, and was a post-doctoral fellow at Cornell University.
Deepak Singh is Vice President of NextGen Developer Experience at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he leads teams focused on transforming how customers build on AWS using generative AI. Previously, Deepak led the Containers and Serverless organization. During his time at AWS, he also ran the Amazon Linux and High Performance Computing organizations, along with the Open Source Program Office. Before starting the containers organization, Deepak headed up product management for Amazon EC2 instances. Prior to joining AWS in 2008, Deepak spent several years as a scientist and product manager at companies focused on developing algorithms and software for drug discovery and materials design. Deepak has a PhD in theoretical chemistry from Syracuse University and has served on the scientific advisory boards of GenomeSpace and Ensembl.
Jeff Carter is the Vice President responsible for a portfolio of Amazon Web Services (AWS) most popular database products and services. It includes Relational Database Services (RDS), which provides Commercial (Oracle, SQL Server) and Open Source (Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB) Databases, plus the RDS control plane and platform teams that support many AWS services. The role includes emerging and purpose-built databases, including: the graph database Neptune, the Redis based services Elasticache and MemoryDB, as well as DocumentDB and Timestream. Jeff is responsible for Data Migration Services team and the Data Migration Accelerator program. Finally, Jeff leads the ADC team that helps manage many AWS services in secure/private environments.
Bill Vass is Vice President of Engineering at Amazon Web Services. In this role, Bill oversees more than 42 cloud and edge technologies that allow AWS’ customers to store, analyze, manage, and retrieve information quickly and efficiently. Bill’s teams deploy, manage, and monitor the cloud. They provide large scale storage; support gaming, large scale simulations, and studio rendering; provide data transfer and real time streaming services; lead AWS’ product development into the Internet of Things (IoT); create robotics and autonomous systems; support the Snowball Edge processing device systems; and lead AWS’ research and development into quantum computing. In short, his teams develop and operate the largest software defined storage, streaming, IoT, automated management, and monitoring systems in the world, used by web-based companies, consumer companies, enterprises, and governments.
Michael leads AWS Security Services Product team for services such as Amazon GuardDuty, Amazon Macie, Amazon Detective, Amazon Inspector, AWS Security Hub, and several other security services. In his previous role at AWS as the Head of Technology Alliances and Partner Ecosystem, Michael helped grow the AWS ISV partner ecosystem to over 8,000 software partners.
Jon Ramsey has been at Amazon for just under two years. He is responsible for External Security Services at AWS,
including Amazon Detective, Amazon GuardDuty, Amazon Inspector, Amazon Macie and other security products.
Prior to Amazon, Jon spent 20+ years in leadership as a recognized cybersecurity industry pioneer. Jon earned a
B.S. in Computer Science from University of Pittsburgh and a M.S. in Software Engineering and Computer Science
from Carnegie Mellon University.
Kyle Lichtenberg is the Global Director of Worldwide Partner Solution Architecture for the AWS Partner Organization. He leads a team of Partner Solution Architects who are responsible for building high performance, fault tolerant, and cost-efficient infrastructures, in support of AWS global partners, who range from 2 person startups through to multinational enterprises.
After graduating from Florida Atlantic University, Kyle held various systems engineering and support roles before making a switch to solution architecture. After joining AWS in 2013, he steadily grew with the organization, taking on ever increasing responsibility for the infrastructure necessary for companies to take full advantage of their AWS. During this time Kyle authored many AWS white papers and was a key contributor to multiple AWS training, accreditation, and certification programs. Later, Kyle led the AWS growth partner initiative, where he and his team enabled, nurtured and scaled tens of thousands of partners who were early in their AWS journey. His upward trajectory continued and was promoted to his current role in 2020, when he also became a member of the APO Senior Leadership Team. Kyle has authored many AWS white papers and is a key contributor to multiple AWS training, accreditation, and certification programs.
Kyle enjoys Star Trek, Dungeons and Dragons, fantasy novels, multirotor UAVs, and tinkering with just about anything that has a network interface.
Michael Schmidt leads the Industry and Horizonal Solution teams in the AWS Partner Organization. Michael team are deeply specialized industry and technical professionals spanning 32 different domains that boast a wealth of industry experience. His team work with customers and partners to build solutions for specialized industry workloads using AWS and partner technology. Michael will shortly celebrate his 9th year at Amazon based at our Seattle HQ after spending 15 years at Cisco in Melbourne, Australia. Michael is a regular speaker at AWS, customer and partner events.
Rohan Karmarkar leads the Global System Integrator (GSI) Solution Architecture and Technology orgs at Amazon Web services (AWS). He is responsible for managing 15 strategic GSI partners and customers. He and his teams are responsible for AWS competency development, sales and technical enablement, solution development, and supporting partners in sales pursuits. Rohan has a global remit with his team spread across various GEOs including North America, EMEA, LATAM, and APJ. His team has deep technical expertise in solution architecture areas across application development, networking, security, infrastructure, Big Data & Analytics, IoT, AI/ML, and also expertise in various industry.
Rohan is based out of the AWS headquarters in Seattle, USA. He has been with AWS for 6 years. He has 20+ years of experience leading various Software engineering, Product Management, and Solutions Architecture teams. He enjoys the challenge of working on large scale transformational, software development and enterprise IT projects. In the last few years, at AWS he is leading cloud transformation and application modernizations initiatives.
Sachin Vora leads AWS Partner Programs globally and is responsible for developing programs which help partners grow their AWS business, accelerate innovation, and deliver business outcomes for their customers. Sachin has 20+ years of technology industry experience across various product and business leadership roles.
Most recently, Sachin was part of the senior leadership team at KenSci – a Healthcare AI startup based out of Seattle - which was acquired by Tegria, a Providence Healthcare company. Prior to KenSci, Sachin held various senior leadership roles at SAP, SAP Concur and Microsoft, spanning product, marketing, business development and partnerships. As Vice President of New Partnerships at SAP, Sachin developed a new fintech revenue channel for SAP and SAP Concur, which was recognized as CRN 5-Star Channel Program. At Microsoft, Sachin led their SMB resell business globally, where he built Microsoft's SMB cloud channel delivering multi-billion dollars in revenue annually. In addition, Sachin has been on CompTIA’s partner advisory board and has been an investor and advisor to venture-backed Seattle and Silicon Valley based technology startups.
Sachin lives in Seattle, Washington and loves to explore the Pacific Northwest cycling or on foot. Sachin holds an MBA from the Wharton School, M.S. in Computer Engineering from UMASS, Lowell, and B.Eng. from Maharaja Sayajirao University, India.
Gareth Best has been with AWS for 5 years in the Strategic Sales org as an Account rep. He was the first certified EQ Evangelist on the EQ team led by Rich Hua, and has been presenting EQ material for 3 years across Amazon. He spent 15 years as a touring R&B guitarist, and has led a diverse career as a Trainer, Pastor, Coach, Tech Sales, all of which have contributed to his expertise in the Emotional Intelligence arena.
Stephen Baker leads the combine AI/ML GTM teams across AI Services, ML Services, Generative AI, Self-Managed ML, and ML Frameworks and Next Generation Developer Experience (NGDE) inclusive of CodeWhisperer Service. Stephen ensures AWS has a holistic GenAI and combined AI/ML focus across the entire portfolio. Before rejoining AWS to lead GenAI for SMGS, Stephen was responsible for Segmentation & Planning while leading SMGS Ops, as well as leading Web3 and IP planning for Amazon Global Media and Entertainment.
Brian Mitchell is part of the leadership team that builds solutions with Generative AI services as part of Amazon Web Services (AWS). Brian's current role is as Director of GenAI Labs which offers accelerated joint engineering engagements between AWS customers and AWS technical resources to create tangible deliverables that accelerate high-impact GenAI initiatives. In his previous role at AWS, Brian led the AWS Data Lab for five years within the Data, Analytics, and Machine Learning Services organization which delivered over 1600 engagements with customers in a similar model as GenAI Labs. Prior to Amazon, Brian spent 12 years at Microsoft working with customers building database and analytics solutions both on-prem and in the cloud.
Adam Taisch leads the Generative AI Partner Acceleration Team. Adam's team is responsible for the definition of partner-led use cases, the Amazon Partner Organization's Generative AI Center of Excellence and go to market and co-sell initiatives with APN Partners. Prior to AWS, Adam co-found and led sales and business at SightMachine a manufacturing AI and Analytics company. An early employee at Yahoo!, and a proud son of the Midwest, Adam excels at ensuring the new technologies serve client needs.
Aaron Rallo is a Director of engineering in the migration services organization who owns a portfolio of services designed to accelerate customers as they migrate and modernize their applications. His portfolio includes Migration Hub, Migration Evaluator, Application Discovery Service and Refactor spaces. Aaron leads a team of engineers that build and operate services and a client delivery team made up of solution architects that helps customers use our services to move faster. Prior to joining Amazon Aaron was the founder and CEO of TSO Logic(an Amazon partner) which was acquired by Amazon in 2019.
Bhupali Tambekar (AWS Ambassador)

Bhupali Tambekar is an accomplished and highly skilled technology executive with a remarkable track record in VLSI Design, DevOps and CloudOps practices. She is a CTO and co-founder at Comprinno Technologies that is an AWS Advanced Consulting and Technology Partner. She carries a vast experience of 22+ years and was associated with international brands like Apple, Rambus and Synopsys in her previous roles. With deep expertise in foundational technologies and a penchant for innovative solutions, Bhupali has consistently driven the success of numerous initiatives throughout her career. As the technical leader in Comprinno, Bhupali has played a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the DevOps and CloudOps practices. Her keen attention to details and customer-centric approach have resulted in the development of a highly reliable and feature-rich SaaS product, Tevico, which serves as an AWS CloudOps platform.

Irene is a Technical Manager, Solutions Architect and AWS Community Builder with a wide experience in Software Architect at NTT Data Technology Unit. Her background is in developing complex and high performing architectures in the backend side with Java. However, in the last years She is involved on the design of cloud native solutions for large enterprises with focus on AWS.
Thomas is a cloud consultant with Sourced Group in Singapore specializing in Serverless architecture and training. Coming from an application and entrepreneurial background, Thomas is passionate about innovation projects and cost-effective rapid prototyping. For the last few years, he has worked almost exclusively on designing, training, and writing about Serverless architecture in his new book, Serverless: Beyond the Buzzword where Thomas shares insights for entrepreneurs and executives, planning and team insights for project managers, and helps readers better understand how serverless architecture might impact their businesses and their projects.
Stefan is a confident and hardworking New Zealander with strong management experience, extensive technical knowledge and a passion for the IT industry. He has developed invaluable “hands on” experience and knowledge in AWS while working in the IT industry for over 20 years in a number of different business industries. Stefan enjoys adding contributions to the AWS community with a focus on devops, migrations to cloud, serverless and application modernization. Stefan is currently based in Wellington, New Zealand.

Ruslan has over 10 years of experience in the IT industry as a System Administrator, Network Engineer, DevOps/SRE, and Cloud Architect. He has worked with startups, SMB, and large enterprises. Ruslan has created and optimized architectures for global tourism, payment services, healthcare, and mobile development companies. Ruslan is an Infrastructure Solution Architect at SoftServe and leads AWS Cloud Center of Excellence there. His extensive background includes: Amazon Web Services and other cloud platforms, Java/Web application platforms, IAC and provisioning tools, NoSQL/SQL DB management, on-premises virtualization, Kubernetes, and CI/CD systems. He is a certified AWS expert and award winner of United Kingdom DevOps Engineer of the Year 2018 by Computing's DevOps Excellence Awards and Ukrainian IT Awards' DevOps of the Year 2018.

Srinivasa Naga Kadiyala is an Executive Architect and an AWS SME with overall 27 years of IT experience, eight years of AWS experience with seven AWS certifications. He is helping diverse IBM clients’ on-premise workloads transformation journey to the AWS cloud. Naga has worked on the AWS cloud to establish Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), AWS Reference architectures, and patterns for various clients. He created points of view, contributed to the AWS Proof of concepts, prepared the AWS Minimal Viable Architecture (MVA), and performed AWS resources cost optimization. In addition, Naga has done several application portfolio rationalizations for AWS transformations. Finally, he interacted with business, security, and other stakeholders for the AWS architecture reviews/approvals.

I recently served as a project manager for a large-scale migration project to AWS Cloud. Currently, I am engaged in training for mid-career and new hires at the Internal Education Department.
